The basic idea

I would like to create a group of artists working in different styles, but having a common idea:

Fine art should go to people not just as some kind of picture without content, but as an image with a certain message, sometimes explicit, sometimes veiled.

That is, looking at such a picture a person should feel, think and understand what the artist wanted to say. What kind of transcendental experience or philosophical thought does the author try to convey to the viewer.

Such art is designed to raise the spirit and intellect of a person to a higher level.

Mystical symbolism

Art, like science, must go hand in hand in the process of understanding the world by man. But each of them has its own way.

Perceiving the picture of the world in all its diversity, the artist understands and accepts the chaos of the world and its orderliness. As well as his own place in this world.

If science is based on experience and its repeatability, then the artist, as a man of art, must see a lot, subtly feel and be able to convey his experience of communication with the unknowable when a transcendent or supernatural breaks into our world.

But how to combine the artist’s mystical field of perception and the ability to describe to usthe world he looked at in a language suitable only for describing the world where most of us live?

In this case, the image of a mystical, numinous spiritual experience, the sound and light of divine truth, a mystical breakthrough beyond the surface of things, in their essence, a response to a call, is possible with the help of symbols.

The symbolism of the numinous allows you to see the universal, the universal in the spesific, the unit. It allows you to discover a paradigm in fact.

It is possible for an artist to express the essence of world processes in the order of intuitively mystical symbolism.

About me

Mister Pi

I was born in one place, but grew up in a completely different place, if you look at the mentality, but it was all in the same country. In Russia. After many years of study, having received one of the best educations in the world by that time, many years of work began. Work on yourself. When perestroika in Russia turned into a shootout ( perestrelka) I was forced to move to the Netherlands. Since in my childhood I drew a lot with pencil, watercolors and tempera, in the Netherlands, when the covid pandemic came and the curfew was imposed, I remembered my abilities as an artist and began to paint with oil paints.
